  1. Desktop file be rebuilt on occasion to avoid depreciating
  2. system performance, slower file searching and even
  3. occasional system crashes. Spring Cleaning is a shareware
  4. system extension that remembers to rebuild the desktop for
  5. you. During the boot process, Spring Cleaning checks all of
  6. the currently mounted drives for a Desktop file that is
  7. older than thirty days (fifteen days for this trial
  8. version). If one is found, it will bring up a dialog,
  9. telling you how old the Desktop file is and ask you if you
  10. would like it rebuilt.
